Kinloch Arms Hotel - Carnoustie

The location was brilliant, not too far away from a championship golf course. The breakfast was great with cheap white bread and extra slice and toast, and the downstairs bar was a plus.

The hotel needed repairs.

It was in the central location in Scottish pubs.

The location was handy and perfect, in centre of town, the garden was nice. The stuff was extremely helpful as we expected:)))

Check-in issues with door fob, unclean windowsills, neglected shower cleanliness, and poor service during busy hours!!! The towel rail practically falling apart is a definite oversight. A room with no hot water on arrival is really unacceptable!!!

The room was comfy and clean, and I really enjoyed the electric shower that worked like a charm. After a long day, I loved kicking back in the cozy lounge area and soaking up the sun on the terrace. Just a heads up, the milk for coffee might taste a bit off, so check before pouring! ☕️

Awesome weekend getaway

Had such a nice time. The room was massive and super clean, nicely decorated too! Loved the bar downstairs. Great vibe and the food was tasty. I tried the steak pie and it was so good! Only thing is, check in was slightly slow but nothing major. A fab stay!

My room was spacious and super clean, with comfy beds and a great view. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The friendly staff, and the location was perfect for exploring Carnoustie.

No significant negatives to report.

The location was perfect for golf enthusiasts, being close to some fantastic courses. The bar served great food, and we enjoyed drinks while reminiscing about our day at the beach. Just keep in mind that the shower needs a little attention and maybe ask for extra towels upon arrival.

We only had one towel in our room and had to ask twice for more, a bit frustrating.

The evening live entertainment created a lively atmosphere, making our stay enjoyable. The complimentary pies during the rugby match were a delightful surprise that added to the experience.

Our family had a lovely walk along the coastal path from Carnoustie to Arbroath, taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh sea air. The location is convenient for golf enthusiasts, just a short drive from Panmure Golf Club. The kids enjoyed the outdoor space.

In my wife's opinion, the place needs a serious cleanliness upgrade for families. The bathrooms were unkempt, and it would be great to have fresh linens available to ensure a more comfortable stay.

Ideal for a solo traveler seeking decent value

The bar downstairs was always full of life and nicely decorated, giving me that sense of atmosphere. And yeah, I took advantage of the Sky TV in the room which was a rare perk.

Great location and friendly staff!

I stayed for one night in a Double Room with Private Bathroom and found the atmosphere cute and the staff friendly. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The bar food was reasonably priced and very tasty, a pleasant surprise. On the flip side, the cleanliness could use some improvement as I noticed a few areas that weren't well-tended.

The stay was decent overall, with a few areas in need of improvement. The room was good, and the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. it was disappointing that toilet paper wasn't readily available and some amenities were lacking. Staff appeared preoccupied during checkout, missing an opportunity to provide a warm send-off.
